The Mercedes Benz Chauffeur programme which was introduced in July 2010 is going from strength to strength. With the new Mercedes Benz S Class Blue Efficiency seen chauffeur driven everywhere in the city of London since its launch in 2009, many more chauffeur driven Mercedes Benz E class vehicles appearing on the roads of Britain especially going backwards and forwards for those airport transfers between London and the major surrounding airports such as Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Stansted and now finally the launch of the second generation Mercedes Benz Viano (people carrier), a car that has changed the course of motoring history since its introduction in 2004.

The word Viano was the new word for MPV or people carrier and most chauffeured clients would not accept any other car that was around prior to the introduction of the Viano, not even popular chauffeur driven cars such as the Chrysler Grand Voyager. Now that we are just 4 weeks away from actually seeing the new Viano on the streets of London and the wider UK, it remains to be seen if this legend of a car will be bought up by so many chauffeurs, owner drivers and companies alike or if it will take some time for that to happen being that the look of the Viano has changed so little and is almost unrecognisable from its predecessor.

Mercedes Benz say that a lot of the improvements on the new vehicle are as a direct result of the Stuttgart based car manufacturer listening to their market; the chauffeurs.Mercedes Benz Corporate are due to showcase their new Viano at the LPHCA (Licensed Private Hire Car Association) AGM and Roadshow held at London Heathrow’s Marriott Hotel on Bath road and will also be on hand to answer any questions regarding the Mercedes Benz Chauffeur Programme which will include the very attractive lease deals on both the Mercedes Benz E and S class that are competing head to head with other manufacturers lease deals such as the BMW’s chauffeured 7 series and 5 series and Audi’s all new A8L which is has a monthly rental price starting from only £675.00.Mercedes Benz is ahead of the rest on the chauffeur driven people carrier market since none of the other manufacturers such as Jaguar,BMW,Audi or Lexus are building one.
